new build pc

Progress is slow due to major work on the house after next door had a big leek we suffered fallout from it anyway heres a pic of my progress so far [img][/img]

The stock top fan is going to be replaced by 2 ANTEC Big Boy 200mm fans for better cooling

What speed are you clocking it to?

For now im gonna clock it to 4.2 gig as im air cooling the system until I have the cash to get some water cooling components,once I have the water cooling system in place ill clock it too 5 gig. Anywho how are ya matey happy 2011 btw

Cpu and cooler installed on motherboard at last im getting some where have ordered replacement ram after problems with the new ram am awaiting the arrival as its not in stock yet grrrrrrrr

Update on the build I've decided not to put the antec fans into the case as the default is ok in this case,one change I am making is the use of 12 gig of the corsair ram instead of just 6 gig as it will enhance the speed of my video rendering by a considerable amount.

Just received mail from corsair this morning confirming despatch of the ram, hopefully the build will be up and running in a week or so.

Kev why are you building it in the antec 1200 case?
Thought you were getting a new one.

Hi m8 its not in an antec 1200 its in a coolermaster HAF X 942 case my old pc is still in the antec 1200 which after the new build is up and running is going to be sold to raise cash for the Ronnie James Dio cancer fund,along with all the other bits and peices that are worth saving and can be sold to raise funds.except for the samsung f1 hdd which is promised to shep

half of the ram arrived yesterday hoping to receive the rest today

Thats the ram installed all thats needed now are the 2 more Samsung spinpoint f3 HD103SJ 1TB HDD'S and an SSD drive along with my gpu's 2 x nvidia 8800GTX XXX in sli mode,I will replace them when I have enough cash With 2 x nvidia 580 GTX gpu's oops just noticed I placed one of the fans on the cooler the wrong way have re attached it the right way what a wally

Im have decided to name my pc vivian after ade edmunsens character in the young ones as its an absolute beast in my video editing scoring over 4000 points in the cpc benchmark suite test with only 6 gig of ram and 1 8800 gtx xxx gpu,shep m8 ive uninstalled 1 of the 8800 gtx gpu,s ill send that along with the samsung f1 too you keeping 1 until I have enough cash for the 580 gpu almost there only need around £100 so should only take about 3 weeks to get it.

looking good,by the time it finished you willbe able to run the world with it,i just got 4GB or ram lol,but GFx card much better now,look forward to catching up with ya sometime buddy

Yes hopefully we will play with and against each other in BF3 m8,almost have enougn cash for a GPU upgrade from 2 x 8800 gtx xxx in sli to 580 gtx hopefully within the next 2 weeks cant wait catch you soon take care and have fun
